WAVEALERT®The WaveAlert® Site Processor and Transducer/Preamp Assembly are located at valve sites along the pipeline and comprise of twp separate assemblies.
The WaveAlert® Site Processor monitors inputs from one or more pressure transducers and distinguishes a leak signal from other pipeline noises. The enclosure is a standard 19 inch rack mount instrument case. The WaveAlert® Site Processor can be located within a standard 19 inch rack mount electronics cabinet and can be sited either in an equipment shelter or in a NEMA-12 (rain tight) enclosure.

TRANSDUCER/PREAMP ASSEMBLYThe Transducer/Preamp Assembly is mounted directly on the pipeline and is contained in a NEMA-7 (explosion proof) enclosure, suitable for use in Class 1, Group D gases, as classified by the National Electrical Code.
Interconnection between WaveAlert® Site Processor and Transducer/Preamplifier Assembly is by standar 4-20mA current loop. The two assemblies can be separated by up to 500 meters.

WAVEALERT-NIS™WaveAlert-NIS™ incorporates the traditional powerful WaveAlert ALDS with the proprietary non-intrusive sensors, which can be easily installed, wrapped around the pipeline, to drastically reduce the cost of installation and maintenance.
WAVEALERT-NIFOS™WaveAlert-NIFOS™ incorporates the traditional powerful WaveAlert ALDS with the proprietary non-intrusive fiber optic sensors, which makes available and provides the option for security in redundancy with ASI’s WaveAlert-NIS™ technology and supports further features such as measurement of acoustic pressure waves with high sensitivity.
